“Great” Bronson Reed will finally get the opportunity he’s been looking for when he takes on Intercontinental Champion Gunther on the season premiere of Raw.
Reed did well, earning several big wins before defeating Chad Gable and Ricochet in a triple threat match on the most recent Raw.
The Ring General is in the midst of a legendary intercontinental title reign and has no intention of relinquishing the title.
Next week on the season premiere of Raw, Ricochet faces Shinsuke Nakamura in a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match.
Three weeks ago, Ricochet was attacked by Nakamura and spent some time on set before returning to Raw last week to seek revenge.
The One and Only retaliated by attacking Nakamura backstage. However, Nakamura returned the favor by surprising Ricochet before his triple threat match, earning himself a shot at the Intercontinental Title.
Nakamura is also looking to get back on track after failing in his last man standing match against World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins at WWE Fastlane.
Shayna Baszler is desperate to fight for the women’s world title again, and she could do that when she meets women’s world champion Rhea Ripley in a non-title bout next week. Last week, Baszler and Ripley interrupted Raquel Rodriguez’s match with Nia Jax and Baszler stood up and stared at Ripley.
As if the season premiere of Monday Night Raw couldn’t get any bigger, the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles are on the line when Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso face the team they dethroned: Finn Bálor in a WWE Fastlane rematch and Damian. Priest of the Last Judgment.
Last week on Raw, Rhodes and Uso successfully defended their titles against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and will look to defeat The Judgment Day like they did at WWE Fastlane.
