Perhaps the final chapter in one of WWE’s greatest rivalries will be written when Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena defends the title against CM Punk at WWE Night of Champions.
Having already held the title from Randy Orton since defeating Cody Rhodes to win it on his goodbye tour, the self-styled “Last Real Champion” vowed to mar wrestling by leaving with the title.
The vow echoes the day that Punk won the WWE Championship in 2011 upon defeating Cena for the title, but The Second City Saint insists that he was attempting to salvage WWE and not destroy it. Now, he will again try to save it when he faces off against his old nemesis in a bout that has been long-awaited by the WWE Universe.

Cody Rhodes will face Randy Orton in the King of the Ring Final at WWE Night of Champions.
Having beaten each other in a first-round Fatal 4-Way Match, Orton then defeated Sami Zayn in one of the semifinals and Rhodes defeated Jey Uso in the other semifinal to have the right to fight one another at the June 28 Premium Live Event.
The victor of that confrontation shall be declared the 2025 King of the Ring and receive a World Title Match at SummerSlam.

Is Jade Cargill prepared for Asuka? The Storm and the Empress of Tomorrow will face off in the WWE Night of Champions Queen of the Ring Final.
Following their thrilling Fatal 4-Way Match victories in the tournament’s opening round, Cargill defeated Roxanne Perez in one semifinal and Asuka defeated Alexa Bliss in the other to secure their spot in the June 28 PLE.
The victor will receive a World Title Match at SummerSlam and be crowned the 2025 Queen of the Ring.

At WWE Night of Champions, United States Champion Jacob Fatu will face his erstwhile comrade Solo Sikoa in a fiercely personal title matchup.
Despite Fatu winning the US title, Solo appeared to think he was better than The Samoan Werewolf, bringing in JC Mateo without Fatu’s knowledge and disparaging the champion behind his back.
But after hearing one of these jabs, Fatu lost it and yelled, “I hate you, Solo!” which ultimately cost Sikoa the chance to seize the Money in the Bank contract. Jimmy Uso entered the ring to assist Solo after he and Mateo launched a two-on-one attack on their former “brother” on SmackDown after Solo’s attempt to reintegrate Fatu failed.

There will be a brutal street fight between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez.
Since Rodriguez returned and sided with Ripley’s longtime rival, Liv Morgan, the Eradicator and Rodriguez have been at odds. They both usurped Mami’s place in the Judgment Day and repeatedly abused her.
When Ripley denied Rodriguez a chance to win the title during the Queen of the Ring Tournament, the two got into a heated argument that also involved Roxanne Perez. Two of the most destructive WWE Superstars are set to engage in a fierce street fight after Ripley challenged Rodriguez to one.

During WWE Night of Champions Sami Zayn will fight to finally silence Karrion Kross. Kross has been badgering Zayn for months, constantly mocking him for failing to become a world champion. Zayn lost to Randy Orton in the King of the Ring Semifinal which caused Kross to mock the wrestler once again. Zayn responded by challenging Kross to a match at WWE Night of Champions. Zayn and Kross have not faced each other directly despite their numerous heated backstage confrontations over the past months.
