Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso will face Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul during an epic WWE showdown at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Cena began to target The American Nightmare during WWE Elimination Chamber and promised to destroy wrestling which he proved by taking Rhodes 17th World Title and The Showcase of The Immortals. After winning the World Heavyweight Title, Paul received assistance from Cena who tried to help him become champion but Rhodes took action by returning to the squared circle and defeating Cena before challenging him to a match at WWE Money in The Bank. Will Cena alongside The Maverick win their destructive campaign or will former tag team champions Uso and Rhodes protect the future of professional wrestling.

The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will lead to an alteration in the career of a participant. In this hazardous battle for the Money in the Bank contract six challenger Superstars will chase their destiny. The first Money in the Bank spot went to Solo Sikoa after Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo provided support to help him defeat Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix. LA Knight secured the second spot through his Triple Threat Match victory against Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura. Penta achieved his spot by defeating both Dragon Lee and Chad Gable. Seth Rollins secured his Money in the Bank spot by defeating both Sami Zayn and Finn Bálor. Andrade made it to the match by capitalizing on an accidental distraction from Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo to defeat Jacob Fatu and Carmelo Hayes.

Six wrestlers have the opportunity to reach greatness by securing the Money in the Bank contract which hangs above the wrestling ring. Every female winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match has managed to convert the contract into gold thus far. During the first selection match Alexa Bliss emerged as the first qualifier for the elevated match by defeating Chelsea Green and Michin in a dynamic Triple Threat Match. Roxanne Perez secured the second spot by dominating Natalya and Becky Lynch in the ring after Lyra Valkyria dragged The Man out of combat which triggered a brawl that eliminated her from the match. Rhea Ripley executed Riptide on Kairi Sane after Zoey Stark got injured at the start of this high-stakes Triple Threat Match which turned the contest into a one-on-one battle. Giulia acquired her spot in the Money in the Bank through a significant Triple Threat Match victory against Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega and 14-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair since joining the SmackDown roster.

The WWE Money in the Bank event will feature Lyra Valkyria defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch. During WWE Backlash, Valkyria secured her title defense against Lynch through a thrilling match which ended with The Man launching a post-match attack. After her title win, the champion fought Lynch during a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match which led to a brawl that eliminated Lynch while Roxanne Perez obtained a pinfall victory over Natalya. The Man addressed the WWE Universe in the following week to explain her WWE hiatus and made a promise to demonstrate how she dominates the women’s locker room.
