World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest has something to prove to the superstar who first brought his title to the public.
El Campion will face Seth “Freakin'” Rollins for the title at WWE Money in the Bank.
Rollins was the first holder of the new World Heavyweight title, and with the gold he quickly earned himself an elite status as a fighting champion, taking on the likes of Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
At WrestleMania XL in , McIntyre finally put an end to his reign, but lost it shortly after when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, nailed McIntyre, and walked off the grandest stage with the title.
When Rollins appeared on the June 17th edition of Raw for the first time since Show of Shows, he appeared to be poised to compete in a Money in the Bank ladder match for a return to the World Heavyweight Championship.
However, after a tense exchange with Priest, the champion offered Rollins a title shot to show Visionary and the others that he was truly a superstar worthy of the gold.
A week later, Priest and Rollins faced off, raising the stakes of the match: if Damien Priest won, Visionary would no longer be able to challenge him, and if Rollins won, it would mean that El Campeon would have to step down from Judgment Day.

At WWE Money in the Bank, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will team up with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to face The Bloodline.
The Bloodline has a long and eventful history with Rhodes, Orton and Owens.
When Roman Reigns took a leave of absence after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to The American Nightmare at WrestleMania, Solo Sicor took over the role of Tribal Chief, bringing about major changes to the Deadly faction.
Solo mercilessly brutalized his brother Jimmy Uso and brought in the destructive Tama Tanga and Tonga Loa, sons of the legendary Haku.
At WWE Clash at the Castle, Sicor launched a 3-on-1 attack on Rhodes, but KO and The Viper jumped in to even the odds.
Then, on the June 21 episode of SmackDown, Jacob Fatu appeared to attack Orton and Owens, slamming Rhodes with a Samoan Splash from the top rope onto the announce table.
The stage was set for the highly anticipated six-man tag team match!

Who will change his career in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match?
Six Superstars chase their fates in this deadly match to steal the Money in the Bank contract.
Jey Uso defeats Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio in a Triple Threat match to qualify for his first Money in the Bank ladder match.
Andrade eliminates Kevin Owens and Grayson Waller to earn a second chance in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Chad Gable, despite being brutally beaten in a horrific scene at the end of Raw on June 17, defeats two giants, “Big” Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman, to earn his first appearance in the tournament.
Carmelo Hayes will also compete in his first Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating Randy Orton and Tama Tonga on SmackDown.
Andrade is the only superstar to have competed in a Money in the Bank ladder match after participating in the 2019 edition.
LA Knight, assisted by New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, defeated United States Champion Logan Paul and Santos Escobar to qualify for the match.
Drew McIntyre secured the final spot with a stunning win over Sheamus and Ilya Dragunov.

Six superstars are given a chance to become great by trying to win the Money in the Bank contract dangling above the ring.
The winner of the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match has a 100% chance of turning the contract into gold.
Just ask IYO SKY, who will be competing in her second Money in the Bank ladder match after winning last year’s career-changing event.
SKY later won the prize and became WWE Women’s Champion.
She held the title for 245 days until she lost it to Bayley at WrestleMania XL.
SKY defeated Kiana James and Zelina Vega to earn a second chance.
Chelsea Green will compete in her first Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating Bianca Belair and Michin.
Lyra Valkyria, who qualified by defeating Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane, will compete in her first Money in the Bank ladder match.
Tiffany Stratton defeated Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae, and Naomi Blair defeated Davenport and Indi Hartwell to both qualify.

Sami Zayn will defend his Intercontinental Championship title against perhaps the toughest challenger of his reign, the dangerous Bron Breaker.
Since appearing on Monday Night Raw, Breaker has left a trail of devastation in his wake after missing out on the King of the Ring tournament, but now he has his sights set on Sami Zayn and the Intercontinental Championship.
Zayn is fresh off an emotionally draining rivalry with Chad Gable, but there will be no rest as the Wild Breaker awaits in Toronto.
